- Galaxy Evolution - Physical properties of the interstellar medium (ISM) in local and high redshift galaxies
- Chemical Abundances - Methods for chemical abundances determination, evolution of metallicity scaling relations and metallicity gradients, comparison with models and simulations
- Surveys - Analysis of large spectroscopic surveys (e.g., SDSS, MaNGA) to investigate scaling relations within different populations of galaxies
- Instrumentation - Optical and Near-Infrared multi-object and integral field spectroscopy, adaptive optics
