Agentic Workflows in Astronomy and Beyond

Researchers in astronomy, cosmology, and the sciences more broadly are increasingly integrating agentic artificial intelligence (AI) – powered by large language models (LLMs) – into their daily lives. Given the transformative impacts these systems are already having on the way we do research, this Kavli Science Focus Meeting will cover Agentic Workflows in Astronomy and Beyond. This meeting will primarily be an opportunity to share our experiences, discuss the impacts of these tools on our day-to-day work, and to look at some concrete case studies. We hope to use the Focus Meeting as a springboard to kick-off a more regular KICC-wide working group where these topics can be discussed and ideas shared!
