Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 5 years in the first instance and the post is expected to start no later than October 2023.

The Kavli Institute for Cosmology, Cambridge, is offering one Kavli Senior Fellowship in Exoplanets.

Applicants must have a PhD in Astrophysics or a related field. We welcome applications from observers, instrumentalists, and theorists with interests relevant to the broad theme of the search for and characterisation of exoplanets.

The successful applicant will be expected to conduct an independent programme of scientific research, write up research work for publication and presentations, and may be involved in collaborative research projects associated with the Kavli Institute and the Cambridge Leverhulme Centre for Life in the Universe.

The successful applicant may be requested to contribute to the supervision of graduate students, seminar organisation and outreach. Applicants must have excellent communication and computing skills.

Salary will be on the Senior Research Associate scale (grade 9, from £43,414 to £54,949). A research allowance of £10,000 per annum will be provided.
