Biography
I am a computational astrophysicist studying the formation and interactions of black holes of all masses in their dynamical environments using efficiently parallelized and GPU accelerated high performance post-Newtonian simulation codes I have developed. I received my PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland after which I worked for six years as a MPA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics, Garching, Germany. I joined the KICC in October 2025 as a Kavli Senior Fellow.
