I am expert in the link between supermassive black holes and their host galaxies across cosmic time. As a numerical astrophysicist, I use large-scale simulations of the Universe to understand how supermassive black holes evolve and what role they play in the evolution of the universe we see around us today. My interests cover a wide variety of cosmological environments, from the origin of the first supermassive black holes via black holes in dwarf galaxies to black holes in the most massive galaxy clusters we see today.
