Biography:

I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge on the Spatially-resolved studies of nearby star-forming galaxies with Prof Mike Irwin and Dr Bethan James. Before coming to Cambridge, I obtained my Master's degree from the Ecole Polytechnique (France) and my Bachelor's degree from Miranda House, University of Delhi (India).

Research Interests

• Local analogues of high redshift galaxies, star-forming galaxies, emission line galaxies
• Star-forming regions, diffuse ionised gas, compact high-velocity clouds
• Physics of the interstellar medium, chemical abundances, metallicity gradients
• Metallicity scaling relations, Metallicity diagnostics, Schmidt Law of star-formation
• Galaxy formation and evolution, chemical evolution of the Universe
